It all began with an idea and a push from a little boy.

After years of dreaming about creating a book based on my father’s character, Charlie the Crab, I came home from work and found my 8 year old son Michael had written, illustrated and bound with staples his first book “The Tue Adventure of Charlie th Crab and the Aligaters.” It was after this that I knew we needed to make Charlie the Crab a household name.

Child's drawing with a handwritten story titled 'The true adventure of Charlie the crab and the digaters.' Below the handwriting, there is a small drawn crab with pink body and claws, and a tiny green insect on a line above it.
